Friday, June 28, 2002 - bird catch and rescue

My name is Penny and I am the Building Manager for Seton Northwest Health Plaza. On Monday, June 24th, I arrived at the building 8:00 a.m., went next door to the Deli to get some coffee. I heard a bird chirping and realized that a bird was trapped in our 5 story atrium. I called numerous places, our pest control company, TX Parks & Wildlife, Animal Rescue, etc. No one could help. The days went by and we were all concerned about the bird as it seemed to grow more anxious daily. We put food & water out for the bird and the tenants even tried to catch it. No luck. Finally we came across Greater Austin Pest Control. On Friday, the bird had flown over to the hospital side by the Volunteer's Desk. The guys came out with special netting, caught the bird and
released it to the outdoors. The guys were great and everyone was happy our bird got out safely and unharmed!! Thanks guys for a job well done!

Thank you very much for the fine job you have done ridding my home of raccoons. I appreciate the extra effort you took to do this job without jurting the cute little guys in my attic!! The way you made those guys leave my attic without trapping was amazing! Thank you so very much for all of your help and I will never hesitate to recommend you to any with similar problems.

Jeff and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the services in eliminating the squirrels from our home. Deing the animal lovers that we are, we very much appreciate the efforts you took to not harm any of the squirrels in my house. I realize that it took you guys a little longer to make them leave my house, but we were very pleased that you did it in such a humane way.

We are also very pleased with the sealing job that Ron did on the outside. We are confident that this work will keep them from coming back inside. I have told my neighbors about what you have done for us.
